RECORD YOUR AUDIO STORY

Use your mobile phone to record your own flood story or your reaction to the Flood Stories installation. Email your recording to project producer Jeanti St Clair at lismorefloodstories @ gmail dot com.

RECORDING TIPS

  1. Try to relax, and speak as you would in a conversation with a friend.

  2. Find a quiet space to record in. Avoid spaces where music is playing, there is background noise or machinery.  

  3. When recording, put the microphone on your phone or recording device a few centimetres from your mouth. 

  4. Keep your recording to under 5 minutes, so the file is of an emailable size. 

SUBMISSION RELEASE PERMISSION

Note: The content may be compiled into an audio storytelling soundscape for a later project. By submitting your recording to the project, you are giving permission for the recording to be used by the project producer Jeanti St Clair. Some excerpts may also be uploaded to related websites and presentations, and used in media coverage.
